Boy Hubbs must really be torn up, he didn’t notice Ow or the fact “Al” is wearing women’s shoes. You know at this point we can fill a book on the things Hubbs hasn’t noticed.

Come on Hubbs there are plenty of fish in the sea! What a twist that would be, Hubbs finding another woman, of course that’s less likely than seeing Batman on this strip:

This is Sedine’s fault! She let her plan go on too long without considering what would happen if they got drunk! Who doesn’t take alcohol into consideration when planning romance?

Maybe if you had said something to Ellie, Hubbs, then Al wouldn’t have moved in on her.

My heart breaks for poor Hubbs.

You need to tell Al how you feel.

Do not let your feelings turn to jealousy. You cannot force someone to love you, ever. So tell Al he won the girl he loves and walk away.

This reminds me of online relationships. Our best friends whom we hardly even know.

Hubbs is very competitive by nature as testified to by his love, nay WORSHIP, of football. There is no way that he will not assert himself in the face of AL’s competition, albeit imaginary. I predict that he will go to Miss Ellie at the cafe and declare his feelings, clumsily I’m sure, but maybe we can FINALLY get this show on the road. (Please BeaR!)

For goodness sake, Hubbs, open your eyes!!! Al didn’t steal Ellie Al IS Ellie!! I mean come on, think. If Al really did “steal her”, why in the world would he bring you to her house. Ugh…
