This is starting to go over Rob’s head. Who knew Satch had an opinion about Gropius? Who knew that Satchel admired the Petronus Towers? Where does this dog get so learned?

This may be my favourite Get Fuzzy strip.

Rob: It is time to throw at least one, and quite possibly two, cats out of your home. It’s just that simple.

Satchel has Rob confused with facts. It’s usually nonsense!

Walter Adolph Georg Gropius was a German architect and founder of the Bauhaus School, who, along with Alvar Aalto, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright, is widely regarded as one of the pioneering masters of modernist architecture.

Satchel, I fall more in love with you each day.

tomorrow I fully expect Satch to expound the functional value and utilitarian aesthetic of Soviet Constructivist style.

Architecture is what holds the roof up and keeps the rain out.

And that’s all I need to know.

Gotta side with the dog on Gropius’ assertion.

Who gave Satchel the encyclopedia?!

I think Satchel has been up watching too many documentries agian. They always seem to get him in to trouble.

I’m glad no one here went off the reservation trying to compare Gropius with a President we all know.

And, being Canadian, why doesn’t Satch end every sentence with “eh”?

Cesar Pelli, architect of the Petronas Towers, passed away last Friday, July 19. Get Fuzzy has been on the tower architecture theme since before that. Great tribute to have a eulogy before passing!

You know, if you look in the dictionary under “pansy” it will cross-reference Rob. Guy has to be the most gutless, no-stance wimp in all of comic literature. Or is he? The contest is on! :D

I had to look that up on Wikipedia. Satchel is full of suprises. :-D
