    I love how Thompson gives every location a distinct character – spot-on parodies in each case. Ah! How we long to go back to PJ Piehole’s again.

    We really enjoyed Charlie Cheddar’s even during the mandatory outdoor eating of the pandemic. Until they forced the giant rats to go outside, too.

    Every P.J. Piehole’s franchise folds up into a suitcase, like a three-card Monte table. Shut it down on one street corner, it just packs up and reopens on the next block.

    At my neighborhood Aegean foodery, most of the kitchen staff is Hispanic. But EurⓄdonut “wins” the day for its despicable faux stuffing!
