I have to wonder if Emily Litella was based on Sally.
Remember kids, don’t talk to forest strangers.
Strange!
You should bring your desk closer to the teacher’s, Sally!
You have to be pretty strange to live in one of those towers.
Reminds me of when Sally wrote “You are an ucklehead”, and called notty pines naughty pines.
Forest stranger danger.
Strangely compelling…
Wow! Cursive writing – the fading writing style no longer being taught, as I understand.
“People are strange, when you’re a stranger … " (The Doors)
No, it’s strange enough as it is.
HAHAHAHAHA
Oh, please do include the explanation!
Just look out for Forrest Stranger Smith and his sometime friend Yogi and Boo Boo. Now there are some strangers to see.
Ah, what is she writing about?
Mood: C.B. in the the third panel
And today’s school children can’t even read that.
This strip is so ironic today, as the “forest strangers” temporarily wielding power in our country do their best to destroy that which they should be endeavoring to protect.
Charlie Brown is not very helpful. What kind of big brother is he?
Forest strangers with forest candy……..
My dream job.
Gotta love Sally.
Forest rangers ?
Forest Strangers related to the “Lone Stranger”, or maybe the “Texas Strangers”?
I’m glad the third panel explained the title of this report. But how are Forest RANGERS science? Seems more social studies.
These brave men – and women – are always on the look-out for such dangerous animals as queen snakes and gully cats.
It doesnt need any more explanation, does it.
But I want to know
