Come on, cats, you don’t need to see each other to know who said something! I can tell by their voices which of my cats is “talking”, even when I can’t see them. Besides, you guys CAN see in the dark!
National Refreshment Day. Make mine a tall, cold lemonade!
National Chili Dog Day. No thanks, I’ll pass on that one.
National Hire a Veteran Day. I give that a BIG thumbs up.
National Thread the Needle Day. Back in high school sewing class, I could do that so easily. Now I can’t do it without glasses.
National Hot Fudge Sundae Day. More ice cream! And I vowed I would not eat ice cream every day this week.
National Wine and Cheese Day. I say yes to the cheese, but no thank you to the wine.
National Culinarian’s Day. It really does not require a culinarian to make chili dogs or hot fudge sundaes or to choose wine & cheese or make refreshments, does it?
National Merry-Go-Round Day. I will never forget the day I was in junior high and some boys offered to push a bunch of us girls on the merry-go-round. We learned a lesson that day. NEVER let boys push you on the merry-go-round right after lunch. They got us going so fast, it was crazy. The only thing that saved us from a certain death was the end-of-recess bell ringing so we all had to go in. One girl (not me – HONEST) actually lost her lunch. The rest of us were pretty dizzy. For years after that I had trouble riding one of those things without feeling dizzy.
To add insult to injury, Tad1’s ISP blocked my email to him again this morning the first time I sent it to him, probably because it was with 19 other people. The second time I sent it just to him and it didn’t bounce back to me.
I’m back from vacation. Just read today’s strip to my Oliver, who meowed his approval. The dog made a big fuss over me. The 3 cats allowed me to caress them and then led me to their feeding station. Sigh
Love today’s comic. Very funny. :) On another note, stopped at a park on the way home from work. Saw some tiny fishes in a creek. I think they were either minnows or baby trout, but I’m not sure which.

My poor daughter sat down on her couch tonite, put her arm on a pillow and got stung by a scorpion that was hiding in the sofa!
Her arm feels like it’s on fire and likely to hurt like that for several hours!
Life in Las Vegas. Their rental co. Doesn’t provide pest control. A must in the desert. They will now!
