I used to tell kids, “I’ve seen you put sticks from the playground into your mouth” or “I’ve seen you sucking on your shoelaces. Don’t tell my that you can’t stand to taste this”.

One time my mother made this stuff that looked like Play-Doh! And it tasted HORRIBLE!! My 3 siblings & I REFUSED to eat it! Even after she tried it she was wondering why she made it!! . To this day we lovingly tease her about the "Play Doh " stuff she tried to feed us with!

My mother always said “you have to try it twice before you say you don’t like it”. After two bites – “you already decided you didn’t like it before you tried it. Eat it anyway”

You can sit here till bed time. If you aren’t done with it by then, then you will have it for breakfast!none of the garbage about making something else for them to eat. Those Kraft Mac and Cheese commercials are giving children too many ideas. done ranting
