Do you speak a language other than English? If so, what? http://www.facebook.com/pages/Daddys-Home/175279239689?ref=ts

“A situação está comendo um grande pedaço de pizza” - What does it mean? (I do speak Portuguese and that sentence doesn’t make any sense).

Ha Ha, guess she showed him. Whether she’s lying or not, he’ll never know! She was so matter of fact about it!

I once watched part (McMurphy and the Chief playing basketball) of “One Flew Over the cuckoo’s Nest” with French dubbing and English subtitles.

Nicholson’s French voice was flat and unemotional. What a contrast to his actual voice. The man is a genius.

The only other I understand well enough to read a book is Spanish, though a TV show- any one of the “romance” languages, and possibly German. I like to read things in the original language when possible and the same with films - reading Chaucer currently (but only on nice days when I can sit outside). That just about qualifies as another language (throws in a smattering of Norman French and many words and terminologies that are no longer used, besides the spelling).
