Kevin Anderson – The new Maryland athletic director fired football coach Ralph Friedgen shortly after declaring that Friedgen’s job was safe. In 2010 Friedgen (a) went 8-4, winning six more games than in 2009, (b) was named ACC coach of the year, and (c) won a bowl game by a huge margin. But Anderson fired him anyway.

I nominate Jerry Jones as SJY2010. Hell, put that guy down for SJY for 20th and 21st century. He is the perfect example of how money cannot buy class. I would have nominated at the SJY link but some idiot has it set up where you have to be a member of Facebook first and that just ain’t gonna happen.

My vote for SJY2010 is Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys and Cowboys statdium for sellin tickets to the supebowl for seats that did not exist and were not installed on time just to try to set an attendance record. He screwed a lot of people.

Jerry Jones is such a jerk. Selling seats that do not exist in advance and not provideing them. Also, for charging people $200.00 a peace to stand outside in the rain to watch a game on screens. Of course they were jerks for paying too.

JERRY JONES - He has an overblown Texas sized ego. He sold tickets to very expensive seats that did not actually exist. They should have been set up, inspected and ready to go days before the game. (snow or no snow) Then, he did not take care of those ticket holders. (I guess they were just little people who didn’t count.) The response to the problem he created was just awful.

I nominate Tank McNamara for Sports Jerk of the Year for forcing people to sign up for Facebook if they want to cast a vote. Facebook is nothing more than a privacy sinkhole.
