Let’s say Agnes weighs about the same as two bowling balls. I would be sweating too if I saw a 30+ pound object zeroing in on me for a landing.

How come Agnes didn’t trampoline to the other side of the pool?

Landing on a person is far worse than landing in the water! That’s bone on bone!

I also come down(see what I did there? ☺) on the side of “it counts”. She jumped. She has no control over whether she lands in water or on a floating island of man-sweat…

Maybe next summer she will land in the water.

I say it counts; she stepped off the board and made the trip to the pool.Now get up there and do it again.
