Reminds me of a internet cooking show I saw a few years ago in which the hostess “taught” us how to cook a grilled cheese sandwich while she drank a can of cheap beer.
I just cannot understand why anyone would try to watch anything on a screen that size; “Hey, look! I can watch a whole movie on my stupidphone and still have no idea what happened!”
When we finish the kitchen reno I’m putting a spare PC (and a washable keyboard) on the counter so wife can access recipes. Plan on scanning to pdf her favorites that she can’t remember which of all the cook books have it.
We found a cookbook in my mom’s stuff that was hardly used. The ingredients and instructions were odd until we discovered it was over a hundred years old and still in mint condition.
Cooking used to be easier with a cookbook in a clear bookholder to keep it open and we could actually eat most foods. Hard to cook when when one has to greatly limit, fats, carbs, soy, broccoli (and other cruciferous vegetables), and now – in addition to every other condition we have – husband is lactose intolerant – mild in chicken gravy? really?

Yesterday, all cooking shows seemed far away
Now it seems they’re on Android to stay
They were on TV just yesterday
Suddenly, I’m not half the cook I used to be
There’s burning food in front of me
The flames shot up so suddenly

You probably know this but I’ll say it anyway. Paul McCartney would sing scrambled eggs when he was writing the song.

Amazon changed the way we shop, YouTube changed the way we cook.

Loved when Julia Child used to toss things around the kitchen.

Unfortunately, what she found was one of the “Funny Cooking Mishaps”, hilarity ensues… ☺

I hate the way my iPhone keeps blanking out while I’m trying to follow a recipe. I’ve taken to just sending the recipe to my printer.
