Your dishwasher was a dog with a long tongue, your chef was anyone who could use a can opener, and your bellhop was trained by Pavlov. Good thing one can still get a drink from the (ahem) bartender.
Their hotel sounds like the Walmart where I work. People come & go there so fast sometimes, I don’t even get a chance to learn their names. Not all quit, though. A lot of them get fired for lack of attendance.
To House of Purrs from yesterday – I wonder if you’re onto something about bbear’s kitty, Tabby. It could be cancer. I’m going through my own agony over my Lovebug. She has chronic ear infections. I’ll treat her with ear drops for 2-3 weeks at a time and she improves, then she gets worse again and I use the ear drops again, then she gets better, etc, etc. She has such big swings up and down, I barely get done saying she’s doing better and then she has a bad day where she won’t eat and she seems depressed. I don’t know what to make of it. The vet believes there is more to her problem than just ear infections and that she could even have brain cancer. And I agree with that. But the test to find out if she has cancer could run more than $1000. And even if I did the test and found out she does have cancer, there really isn’t anything I could do to treat her or to cure the cancer. So I just have to do my best to keep her comfortable. I need to clean her ears often – every other day or even more often than that when she’s showing signs that she isn’t well. And I put the drops in her ear whenever she’s doing poorly. She didn’t eat today, but she ate a little yesterday and who knows – maybe she’ll decide to eat tomorrow. Poor Tabby, though, isn’t eating at all and he’s lost a lot of weight. I hope it isn’t cancer. Cancer really sucks! Sorry about your losses to cancer. I’ve lost 2 cats to probable cancer (not definitely diagnosed, but the vets were quite certain of it), but mine happened a few years apart, not so close together.
The mirtazspine is a bust. Tabby acts like he wants to eat but can’t force himself to do so. I have a call into the vet. I want to thank everybody for their kind suggestions. I fear that Tabby will be on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge with my mom by this weekend. Oh, that hurt to type.
I wonder if the dishwasher, chef, and bellhop quit because they were tired of having to deal with Chesney. (Sorry if that sounds too negative.) On another note, worked in my garden today. My garden isn’t doing that ell this year. A few beans and a few carrots, and that’s it. Oh, well, that’s better than nothing.

I’d be working my way through the Mojitos if that bunch were my bosses! ( I like mojitos).

Mojito. Is that Spanish for “little mojo”?

I think they all quit over the little issue of no paycheck.
