I guess egg on the wall is better than egg on someone’s face.

Lily sounds like my April. Okay, so April isn’t opposed to sounds, but if I try to touch her, or Heaven forbid, try to caress her, she’ll rip my hands off. She bites & claws and gives me a really dirty look. I can’t figure out why she is that way. I’ve had her from the day she was born and I always treated her exactly the way I treated her litter mates. but while they’re all friendly and sweet (well, Uno doesn’t like to be held, but she tolerates it and she does let me pick her up) treated she’s the most unfriendly cat I’ve ever had.

The first day of my “real” vacation – the one that lasts for 12 glorious days! The one where I need to spend a lot of time with Lovebug, who is still having good days, then bad days (she was feeling bad & walking wobbly a few days ago, but is improving now that I started the ear drops again but she’s not 100% yet). The vacation where I intend to read a lot and pick a lot of corn and stuff from my garden (and where I get to EAT that stuff). And the vacation where I want to finish painting my house – a job I started about 3 years ago (?) but never finished. I just have the east side left to paint. I did the other 3 sides before.

Well, Lily, that was a waste of a perfectly good egg.

I love Lily. I feel that way sometimes. Just step away…

She’s pretty loud for someone who wants quiet,

It crackled, she snapped, and the bowl popped.

I still have some love bites healing on my arm from Tabby to remember him by. (I’m a slow healer, being diabetic)

No Bluebell, it wasn’t snap, crackle OR pop, it was ALL three that set her off! :-D

In one classic Calvin and Hobbes comic, Calvin added alka-seltzer to his Raisin Bran (apparently he was out of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs) to make it crackle and pop. I doubt Lily would enjoy that! On another note, saw a black and orange butterfly while outside today. I thought it was a monarch, but then I saw it looked different from a monarch.

Lily is definitely NOT a morning cat! (As opposed to morning person.)
