As a kid my siblings and I learned small phrases in different languages while travelling. We made a game of saying “good bye” in as many languages as quickly as we could. We went through the usual Adios, Arrividerci, au revoir, auf Wiedersehen, Shalom, Dasvidaniya, and Sayonara. Usually when someone couldn’t remember one, the game ended with that person saying “Cyanide” that’s goodbye in any language.
