Two years is considered a fairly short period of adjustment by some. They are fortunate to have reached the realization so soon.

My last wife and I have been married 38 years.

The last 13 have been the happiest for me.

    She moved out in ’06.

People ask me how long I have been married…I usually state “to/too/two” (pick one as they are homophones. They reply ’Two years". No I state – “too long”…just for a giggle.

I used to use this line.

Now when I tell people that we’ve been married for 48 years they ask, “What’s the secret?” I only have one answer, “Pick a good spouse.”

I tell people we have been happily married for 10 years. We celebrated our 51st anniversary last month.

We got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper sprout. We’ve been talking ’bout Jackson, ever since the fire went out.
