But don’t you like the sand? An infinite litterbox!

My cousin’s cat, Whiskers likes to drink under the faucet and then he crabs and whines until she gets a towel and dries his head.

Kinda a live/ hate thing with water.

I wonder what the bus fare is for the cars?

Today is:

National Ice Cream Pie Day. I’d love some of that, but I stil haven’t finished that angel food cake I have in my fridge.

National Fajita Day. I’ll pass on that one.

National Mail Order Catalog Day. I saw some cute cat T-shirts in a mail order catalog which I’ve been thinking of sending for. I also saw some cute cat sweat shirts in another catalog, but they’re too expensive. I will not pat $40 for a sweat shirt!

It’s also Becky Day! My cousin, Becky and I both have birthdays today. Becky is about 7 or 8 hours older than I am. She was born in the morning and I waited until early afternoon.

…but, did you notice the size of that litter box?

I think if I took Yum Yum to the beach, she would sniff suspiciously and stomp off in a huff.

How wonderful it would be if a sweet little 8 year old girl could charter a bus to take her kitties to the beach. Sigh.

My sister in Columbus OH went to a friend’s daughter’s first birthday yesterday when somebody said they had a litter of six week old kittens to give away. I am not presently in the market for a cat until the workmen are finished going in and out of my house but if that woman is willing to wait a few weeks I could be getting an orange and white short hair kitten.

Look on the bright side, kitties, at least you have sandwiches. While most cats do hate water, there is one breed of cat that may enjoy swimming. I think it’s called the Turkish Van. On another note, I once saw a seal swimming in the sea while at the seashore.
