Hey lay off the Royal mental health. You try inbreeding for centuries.

Insanity doesn’t usually run in the family. Most of the time it just sits there. The concept of royalty is in the realm of Emperor Norton.

@ghostkeeper. Yes, George III was her grandfather, the uncle you talked about was Ernest, Duke of Cumberland (who was actually heir to the British throne from 1837 until 1840) and apparently he may also have been having an affair with said valet and it was even said that his sister, Sophia had his child. :S The terrifying father was George V (QV’s grandson) and I think the quote was: “My Father was scared of his Mother, I was scared of my father and I’m going to make bleeep sure that my children are scared of me.” Oh, and Eddy wasn’t actually Victoria and Albert’s son, but their grandson through Prince Albert Edward (aka Bertie or Edward VII) and he died of influenza and pneumonia. However, Prince Alfred of Edinburgh (another grandson) did die of syphilis or some similar disease and may even have shot himself at his parents’ 25th wedding anniversary because of it. And we must also remember Wilhelm II, who was several sandwiches short of a picnic…

    Oh, and congratulations Pab! :)

Congrats, Pab! Love it - most families that are inbred can become a problem - add that to considering themselves above the law… so much like many American sports or ??? celebs. I’m glad I probably won’t live to see the end of the earth - unfortunately I have grandchildren who will.

Given her answers to the first two questions, the third seems beside the point, somehow…
