To those of you who consider Tommy annoying, please reconsider what you are saying. Aside from our beloved Puck, he is one of the sweetest cats in existence. And, sweet should never, never be considered annoying.
Well, the boys are slowly figuring out where the cricket isn’t. I think Lupin will be the one to find the cricket, who is probably at the teleprompter. (Not a spoiler, merely a supposition.)
We came through the storm ok. The eye passed about 15 miles eastward of us. Horses, barn cats and bid garden spider all doing fine. No power and minimal damage. Not like last year

Pucky foot beans!
Tommy, I love ya, dude, but you’re almost as annoying as the cricket. Elvis looks as if he’s going to pull a Tabitha and swat you silly!

Where’s Lupin, our poor betrayed Lupin?

When you find the cricket, swat it with a bat.

Before cricket-times, we also did not have annoying Tommy!

Breathe slowly and gently, Elvis. Count to ten. Then to another ten.

Tommy, are you mocking Elvis’ hunting skills?

Puck is adorable no matter what he does. I just love his fuzzy little face poking out in panel three!

Had a cricket in the grocery store yesterday morning and I just laughed and laughed and laughed. Sadly, no feline news reporters though! :))

Good morning Orbsters!
Just writing to check in and mark myself safe from the storm. We actually came out relatively unscathed.
Also, more good news for #teamandrea: Andrea goes home today!

This whole arc makes me think of an episode of the Big Bang Theory when the guys are trying to find and identify a errant cricket in the apartment.
We have plenty of crickets outside, but Mittens won’t allow one to survive very long inside the house. She is also our resident spider catcher.
Work has been bedlam since more tariffs have started. Really cutting into my BCN and Friday Mimosa time.
Waiting for the weather to turn from warm and steamy to cool and crisp. The way it usually goes is:
Hot & Steamy → One week of nice weather → Ice storm and 12" of snow.
Take care Orbsters.

So Puck is counting time in BCT terms? Ah, the good ol’ days.

Or to take a leaf from Sophie’s playbook – “Not now, Tommy.”

Someone please get the cricket so we can move on.

Tommy, maybe you oughta go see if Sophie has made a sculpture to a peaceful, cricket-free home rather than make things worse.

Maybe the cricket will be found in the basement and be dispatched by a big orange cat…???

In the UK, a cricket in the hearth is considered good luck, especially in someone else’s hearth.
