Now it’s my turn to be confused. Apparently, Tracy is no longer confused, not that he looked confused before. Answer tomorrow I guess. The two weeks are up.

Good morning™, two panel reveal cut-offers !

A third panel might have lead us on a chase across fen and moor as the killer must be making a break for it having been revealed.

Dick looks very stern but at least he’s not shouting. I can hear him hissing out his words today.

I think it might be the girl in the polka-dot swimsuit. The reason : the white powder on the dead girl’s lips was not potassium, but the sand that came from the beach photo shoot scene that stuck to her swimsuit (or hands) and got dislodged when she committed the murder.

Shouldn’t the artist apologise to us as well?

Is Dick in in pain or constipated in the second panel?

Well we have 3 choices!!! And tomorrow we find out!!!

We’re one day away from the end, and we don’t really know a thing about this “case”. What was the cause of death? The coroner never told us, or Tracy. For that matter, is she dead? I guess we must assume she is, but it was never confirmed. They found a fellow model face down on the floor, and stood around talking instead of trying to render aid. All this was just an excuse to draw two weeks worth of pretty women in swim suits. There was no story here at all. And this artist rarely got Tracy right. (Sigh) Big disappointment for me.

“Until now”? Heck, I’m STILL confused!

I always feel like these should be whodunnits, but they obviously aren’t. They’re just almost-plotless interjections. I would so much prefer if the stories were set up so that the readers could solve it themselves, like a puzzle. And maybe increase the number of panels so that you can tell more story in two weeks.

It could only have been Friday if she had been unmasked Scooby-style on Friday the 13th!

I hope they retire this MM concept. The stories are very weak and some of the art also. If I were a new reader and was giving “Dick Tracy” a look and happen to sample the strip during one of those MM stories, I wouldn’t come back. Please Pull The Plug!

We now conclude the Dick Tracy swimsuit issue.

Part of our collective disappointment, I would venture to say, is because the last MM was so very well done, at least compared to the ones before and after it.

I know! The murderer is DEXTER! …and he’s already gotten away with the potassium!

The real mystery is who planted the upskirt camera in panel 1. Solve that Tracy! (It was Sam).

“Sorry it took the better part of an hour to solve this case. Now I will announce who the killer is in this room full of people…”

It could be a “To Tell the Truth” moment….all of the suspects are standing. Like a crime drama, the one who acts like a suspect is never the one who done it. Always the one who is keeping a low profile…..that’s the culprit.

Tomorrow in Katy Keene, the cut out dress episode. Careful, the Gould family is watching.

What? Is this strip turning into a fashion plate?

Hyperkalemia? It was either an accident, or suicide!

Panel 1, the suspects are posed in a line-up as Tracy prepares to reveal who the killer is. Panel 2, squinty-eyed extreme close-up Tracy seems to be doing a Dirty Harry (Clint Eastwood) imitation, with breathy, low voice and menacing glance.

Unfortunately, we have no way of identifying the killer with certainty, as we have not been given sufficient clues, despite obvious padding of the story/strip on several days.

Last criticism: although the women all look good, though artificially posed and often shouting, Pepoy has had a lot of trouble getting Tracy (and his fedora) right, and in fact rarely does….
