You should be like Hulk Hogan say your prayers, eat your vitamins and inject massive amounts of steroids.

In before there are complaints about those spoiled millennials* and their participation trophies, without considering whose idea they were in the first place.

Older kids knew how important they weren’t, and little kids were in no position to express an opinion, being little kids.

    *currently pushing 40, of course.

You can build muscles and get very toned over time. My husband and I did so. Except for the guy I worked with that needed to test my arm muscles every day. Loved him he was a hoot but he could have used a good one himself. I remember his gal coming in and caught him testing my muscle again. I said to her do me a favor and buy him some weights to lift so he can test his own muscles LOL

I’ve heard most guys don’t get their full growth until in their twenties. . .can you get buff in your teens? Makes me think of those silly romance covers where the guys look like. . .washboards??? Especially LUV those bare-chested cowboys riding through the sage/desert. . .guffaw!

Last time I did some serious weight training, I got the usual results: stronger, but no visible change.

I started doing push ups when I was 13 and I always walked a lot. By the time I was eighteen I was able to do 150 push ups straight through and had washboard abs. That’s it, ~3 minutes per day (not counting the walking).

I did reach 50 push ups easily eventually and worked out on my own at the school weight lifting room. At least one of the coaches complimented me on my physique back then.
