NOT. The karat is a unit of the purity of gold, not a unit of weight. They must mean “carat.”

Not only butterfly’s but all insects because they are cold blooded. Some can take the cold down to 40 degrees.

Edison created an electric pen that was taken up by someone else years later to become the tattoo needle — http://blog.nyhistory.org/edison-and-the-tattoo/ — so I’ll have to fall into the ‘Not’ camp today.

To me, a fake diamond looks just as good and lots cheaper. If it clouds, get a new one.

I read where the Edison lab had up to 20 people working there. I do not believe it was all him. He may have come up with an idea but others certainly helped it along.

In the spring, the first time I see flying insects is when the temperature hits 40° F.

I don’t know what Edison’s tattoo pen really looked like, but the drawing has a strong resemblance to one of the homemade tattoo pens my brother confiscated from a prisoner!
