Why can’t you have both. Just lengthen the dice cord and the handicap plaquard is still visible.

With your car in that good of condition you could sell it for more than you paid for it and get a new car and a few other.

In my state, you’re only supposed to hang the tag while the vehicle is parked. It is not to be displayed while driving down the road. I would keep the dice.

Skip the hanging tag and get the plates, then you don’t have to remember to hang it. Of course if you’re riding with someone else then you’re outa luck unless they drop you off right at the door.

I remember my aunt’s car, same colors. We’d all pile in in our PJ’s/nightgowns and go to the local drive-in movies. Good memories.

It’s a ‘56— only car I can absolutely recognize. Every time I see one, especially if it’s red and white, I wonder if what I lost in the back seat is still in there.

Keep ‘em both. The placard doesn’t interfere with the dice. I know for a fact.

The card has directions to remove it while driving and not obstruct the driver’s vision. You hang it from the cigarette lighter or radio knobs while driving.

What do you mean that a Plugger can’t have his dice and placard too??? Is the mirror that small?

Nope, the dice would hang between the HCPlacard and the mirror, with one Proudly Displayed on Each Side of It ! History and Heritage. :-)

Let it hang from the mirror while your driving just like the instructions say on the placard REMOVE BEFORE DRIVING

Simple: Keep the dice while you’re driving and swap it for the placard when you’re parking. (Although in some states it’s illegal to drive with the placard hanging from the mirror, even if that law is never enforced.)

I had a pair of dice for my car during my senior year of college … though they were more rubbery, and black with orange flames. Kind of goofy, but fun, too.

I have yet to find a state that allows a handicap placard to be legally be hung on display continually. It is to be used only when the vehicle is parked in a handicapped parking spot. So there is no need to retire the fuzzy dice.
