Ten Cats by Graham Harrop for September 11, 2019

Oh good! This posted late, but it posted before I went to bed (which I will be doing in just a few minutes because it is past 2:30 in the morning). Jack & Chesney – I didn’t get all my sleep last night (Monday night) either. For some reason, I just could not fall asleep. I’m glad Tuesday was my day off so I could rest. But I don’t think anyone would put money in a hat for me just because I got so little sleep last night.

Today is September 11 and we all know what that means. You cannot mention the date without everyone remembering and seeing those images all over again of the twin towers. We will never forget.

As Tad says.. One another note -

Today is A National Day of Remembrance (no explanation needed).

Patriot Day

National Hot Cross Bun Day. Do you know I have never eaten a hot cross bun? I found a recipe online once, but never made them.

National Make Your Bed Day. Sorry, but the only time I actually make my bed is when I’ve washed my bedding. All other mornings, I merely straighten the blankets, pulling them up over my sheets and pillows so if a cat should barf on my bed before I go to bed at night, all that gets barfed on is the top blanket and I don’t have to pull off the sheets and find fresh ones and make my whole bed up again. Besides, how am I supposed to make my bed in the morning when the bed is still full of cats?

So, I’m going to bed now.

Another night of insomnia, punctuated by thunderstorms. Jack and Chesney, you have no problems at all.

I’d be happy to give you some of my sleeps, Ches.

Much more luck asking for food, I’m sure.

Got new cell phones yesterday (and switched carriers) and I’m SO lost and confused. I have no problem with getting new computers or Kindles or tablets, but phones? Nope, do not like this one bit.

Oh, they have compassion, Chesney. They just know better than to fall for your tricks. On another note, saw two rabbits while out walking today. Also saw two rabbits yesterday at the zoo. They were in the farm exhibits. One of the rabbits was a Flemish Giant. man, that’s a big bunny! I think it was as big as the ocelot I saw. ( I think the other rabbit was a Harlequin rabbit.)
