That’s actually a pretty welcoming pose. It gives off a sense that, even though the statue is of Gordon, it’s not all about Gordon.

I’ll bet it does. You know why? Cause he’s a man. If a woman had a statue, she’d never be happy with the shape (too fat, not busty enough) or face (my nose is NOT shaped like California)
