Stand up….turn around….poof, youre a Caboose..
Why is Terrance always the Engine? What’s his Loco motive?
how about a UPS truck?
Realizing that Terrance was a 2-4-4-2-2, Teresa realized that he was always going to be weaving around, and never on the mainline to long-term success.
Face it, Terrance. You’re going to have to switch with her now and again. She wants to drive the train, not merely to follow it.
Toni longs to be an Amtrak club car, but Terrance could never travel in that fast of company.
Some men think it’s a compliment to say we’re strong and steady…
even worse, sturdy, and comfortable.
We long to be the fancy cars, like, as oldpine says, a club car, or maybe a Coast Starlight Parlor car… or pretty, like an old-time locomotive…
Just like the school play, when we wanted to play the fairy princess, not the mother bear.
Even if you’re very pleased that your wife is strong, steady, and as comfortable as your favorite old slippers,
she’d rather you thought of her as sparkly and glamorous, like champagne and high heels.
If you stay on track, maybe you can engineer a switch with Terrance. Those railroad ties run deep.
Maybe she can be the Phoebe Snow on the run to Niagara Falls. That would be classy!
“OK, you can be the Brown… I mean Silver Streak…”
Well if Terrence wants to always be the engine, she can be the engineer! wooooo wooooo!!.
Don’t we all.. fraid unless Toni manages to lose ~ 40 or so pounds she is destined to be ballast at best.
Good morning Balladeers, (((((Plods))))) and Miss Susan.
Better up the game Terrance.
She dreams of being the 20th Century Limited.
I’ll just say let her be the caboose and leave it at that. :)
Terrance is the little engine that couldn’t.
