    Good thing that isn’t a blood oak tree. Its sap looks and acts like blood including clotting. The nuts hold a toxin as do the leaves when they fall they are little hypodermics that inject a bit of toxin to weaken you and induce paralysis. Fascinating biology. Wonderfully surreal gruesomeness.
