Those were the good old days.

And where did you find a penny gum machine? Or is this a reprint from the 60s?

We thought we were too cool for pennies. Used to put dimes in our loafers!

Back when a penny gumball was a penny. Now it’s at least .50.

Had bright pennies in mine, but outside school, they would be off. Mom got me “loafers,” figuring I’d be more likely to wear “comfortable” shoes. Didn’t work;)

My mom bought me penny loafers in 1966 or so… my dad said they looked ‘cheesy’.

@sarahbowl1. I made a mistake. It was 25cents to get in and 25 cents for 5 small bags of potato chips, our favorite snack.

Memories are great things to have. But we live now and in the future not in the past. I’d like to be able to come back in 50 years to hear the memories of our great grandchildren.
