Patches update: He’s doing great in his new home! Melody sent me pics and a little video of her rubbing his tummy. She was worried that he was skinny so I explained the history, and now that he’s eating the food she gives her other cat (and loves it), we should see him porking up soon.
On a different note, whilst out walking with my pup I saw a black squirrel. It must have hitched a ride to Long Island because all we have are gray ones (mostly). What say you, Tad1?

Good comeback, Annie. Too bad it likely went over Chesney’s head. On another note, saw a rabbit and three dragonflies while out walking today.
