Oh oh oh! Goldie is trying to introduce herself! Dang, why did she have to try to contact the cat who can’t hear!?!

That sounds like firsthand experience. I wonder who in the Big Pink House is a secret mirror performance diva? (I want to think it’s the Man, and Lupin is the only audience he lets in on the secret, and he’d be mortified if anyone found out!)

Poor Lupin! After being the only witness to Goldie, she misses the chance to meet her!

Goldie’s gloves in panel 2 seem to match her shorts. Great outfit, Goldie!

This reminds me of a cartoon – a skeleton wearing dark glasses and holding a white cane, pressing the doorbell in the gate in front of a big house with the sign “School for the Deaf.”

Lupin is talking into his tape recorder. In the sneak preview, we saw Goldie with a tape recorder. Is she going to be a robber cat and take it—or now that they no longer have an intern, will Goldie become the one to transcribe Lupin’s notes?

That personal tape recorder is important to the story. None of us know exactly what is going to happen and we can’t got to the end of the book to find out.

I’m off to the doctor this morning to see if there is a temporary fix for my knee, or if it’s time to start planning on joint replacement. Fingers crossed that something will bring relief, because that joker is sending me hate mail with every step.

I predict Lupin will jump out of his skin (or at least give us a major, memorable poof).

On the home front, Paul saw the denturist yesterday and he is adapting very well to his upper plate (despite his numerous whines on the subject), and will be assessed by a speech therapist to see if she can give him hints to improve his swallowing so he can eat better. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I’ve always wondered if Lupin is the 3rd cat adopted by the Man and the Woman.

If I was that cat, I’d tip toe right into the kitchen. And then, proceed to steal all their food.

…and The Man does battle with the buzzy snake in front of the mirror!

ok, Georgia must be a mindreader. I LOVE Julia Sugarbaker comebacks. Some of the best of all time! (I was on youtube the other day watching one after another, some made me laugh some made me cry and they all made me feel better)
