Awww…! Defeat, and with witnesses! Poor Goldie girl. What a racket – and is that the Inaugural Goldie Poof I see in the third and fourth panels? Mark your BCN calendars, Mega Orb!
At least the Boys have all seen her now. They’re on the case!
Wouldn’t be surprised if we get some Robber Mouse provided info at some point. They probably know how to talk to the Trash Panda Gang.
Poor Goldie, she’s gotta be so confused right now. I wanna reach through the computer and give her a nice cuddle and skritch (if she likes cuddles, at least). Georgia, please give her a bit of extra attention from me!
Poor Goldie on the run again. At least she has a new friend with Natasha following her. Wonder where whe is going …the greenhouse for safety and warmth? Will the boys let the man and woman know about the ginger cat? So many twists and turns.
“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.” – John Lennon
Poor Goldie! I love her so much and my heart aches for her abandonment. She’s such a plucky cat and her tail poof is the best! Good boys, please help her ASAP!
Raccoons are smart and persistent. I had a magnetically-latched cat door but a raccoon kept getting in. I finally set up two video cameras and a motion sensor to find out how he did it. The raccoon had figured out that the latch prevents a push entry but not a pull entry. He snagged the door flap with a claw, lifted it and let himself in. I finally discouraged him by leaving a vacuum cleaner plugged into a remote-controlled power switch inside the room with the cat flap. The next time I heard the raccoon (and knew where my cats were), I turned on the vacuum cleaner. He got out fast and never came back.
Natasha needs to stick those raccoons with one of her “swords” rather than join Goldie and run from them. Though I’m not Sure Puck and Elvis see Goldie, kinda look like their looking at the evil racoons clashing trash can lids together.

Just look how smug Lupin is. And justifiably so!

I think Goldie’s tail poof is epic. Lupin is vindicated. Elvis can’t believe his eyes. Sweet Pucky wants to help. Details at Eleven!

Goldie’s has a tail poof to rival Elvis. I see that Natasha is tagging along with her.

If you would just stop that noise, Goldie has a few questions.

Elvis has been freed from the drawer, at least! (Or should that be “Elvis has left the drawer”?)

Lupin, she needs help, not smugness. (But the others deserve your smug)

Raccoons, how uncouth. And a tip of the hat to Lupin. Vindication is a dish best served with Ice-cream and sprinkles.

How uncouth of the raccoons! Mind you, that behaviour is pretty much true to life.

The beginning of tomorrow’s strip as I imagine it:
Lupin, at anchor desk: “Local cat right all along.”
Puck, on Camera One: “Lupin, I’m here live where an epidemic of smugness has broken out…”

It’s not often you see references to Judy Blume and Mad Max in the same comic strip.
