Not likely, Tyr. Mead was in Europe thousands of years before the Norse even came along. Maybe you should try arguing that the Norse introduced the Mead of Poetry as a reason for you to be the spokesperson.

Mixing it with fruit and rice means it’s not mead. (IMHO) The ancient Persians drunk mead, it’s where the term ‘honey moon’ comes from.
