    [nerd alert] Alan Moore had a great character, Promethea. She was the living incarnation of imagination, so she could do anything she could imagine. In one iteration her secret identity was a male cartoonist who discovered he could become Promethea if he imagined hard enough. Promethea had a male lover, an FBI agent who didn’t respond well to finding out her secret.
