Hey, if the meteor strike/volcanoes/meteor winter are going to kill them all off in short order anyway, they can be turned into burgers by short order cooks. But tell the meat processors that they will need a bigger hammer…

Well, I heard (long, long ago) that rattlesnake tastes like chicken. So I just did a search on what does iguana taste like? Mixed answers. Some say it tastes like chicken, others disagree.
Monitor lizards apparently do taste like chicken.
Giant tortoise (the kind found on the Galapagos Islands were said to be very tasty. Which led to sailors carrying them off on ships as a source of fresh meat.
So Cap’n Victorious remark would probably be correct.
