[nerd alert] Huntress has had several ‘origins.’ Lately, she’s been the daughter of a crime family who went the Bruce Wayne route after her family was killed. Black Canary decided to be a crime fighter on her own. Can’t think of too many ‘self created’ heroines, and no super scientists who invented their powers like Iron Man or The Atom.
Mostly, like Black Widow or Ravager, they get trained by secret organizations or messed up fathers.
