Opal better have plenty of candy to share (with Earl) if little to no trick-or-treaters come by.

If I buy candy on October 1, it will be gone before Halloween. I have to wait to buy it.

People our age – and Earl and Opal’s lived in a time when people didn’t judge you like they do today.

I love the meme that’s been going around: Somebody at the gym with a Giant Costco-Size bottle of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup. Which they’re using for a water bottle.

Yes the Candy Muncher invasion is almost here ! Time to put treat bags together ;-)

I don’t judge anyone…but I sure have some opinions about them…

Oh? And what planet was that on?

Who cares what people think? Do they pay your bills? I don’t hurt people but try to help.

The key is to get to the point where you don’t care who is judging!

I like Halloween. When I go out in public, people just thing I’m wearing a costume rather than looking at me ‘cause I’m just a scroungy old codger.

I buy those bags of little Hershey bars for the Trick-or-Treaters but they never come so I am forced to eat them before they go bad…

I’m planning to purchase a huge bag of candy corn as soon as they go on sale on November first.

I buy 15 pounds of mini-chocolate bars every year. 7 for the kids and 8 for me.

I just ignore them. (This is NOT an ignore rant.)

My SIL hates October because of all the trips to the store she has to make to replace the bags of candy for Halloween.

Hey, Opal, they’ll still judge you. Fool them better by also buying a cheap bowl to put them in ‘for the trick or treaters.’

Go ahead and Get your Sweets Year Around Opal,You and Earl,like My Wife and I have Earned the Right to Enjoy What We Like. Go For It ! :-) Life is Short so Live It ! :-) ( You all ever been in an Older Persons Home and they didn’t Have Candy Dishes,etc. around ? ) :-)

With all of the concern about foreign objects put into candy I make it a point to checque every piece myself.

I think there was plenty of judging just not on social media and in the press

Guys, like many others, I am tired of all the people to attack someone for having an opinion. EVERYONE have the right to an opinion and you should respect that right. It does not mean you have to agree with it. Please be polite. If you want to fight, go join the UFC.
