I remember taking a CPR course as a volunteer member of the local ambulance corp. The dummy’s name was “Ressussie Annie” (as in resuscitation). I thought our instructor made up that name, but seems like it is a universal name for this teaching-mannequin.
I took a Red Cross refresher CPR class where my best friend and roommate was the teacher. Guess who got used for most of the “volunteer” demonstrations.

Was that disclaimer in the original strip or was it added later when someone realized that maybe somebody somewhere would think they now CPR?
