Wally is a parent and didn’t even know it.

He’s one of those special men who understands: “Happy wife, happy life.” Whatever your desired family is may be substituted for ‘wife’.

I’ve always thought that Wally is golden, a true father. To me there is nothing more heart warming than seeing a man carrying a small child, and I am touched when I see a boy with his dad at a sporting event, or a little girl holding her daddy’s hand as they walk into a store. Men who care, men who have a huge heart, are extremely attractive to me. Yeah…we have six kids, now you know why. Men who care about kids are golden.

Raising little broken human beings ain’t easy, especially when you are a big broken human being as we all are

Wally, Mick Jagger said it best, “you can’t always get what you want, but if you try real hard, you get what you need!”

Just a comic strip but it sure plucked at our heart strings.

Sounds familiar. I have 2 “step”-daughters, but as far as they and I am concerned, they’re mine.

I have a “step”. I was never married to her mother, but she thinks of me as the dad she never had. Her children refer to me as “Grandpa”. Due to her mother’s drug use and other antics, they are completely estranged. So I guess I am her only “parent”.
