25 more years for me

Aww bless your heart Earl, I just turned 60 this year.

Those aren’t wrinkles, they’re character references. Of course, the grey (or absence of) hair is something that happens as you age. The outside of your head starts to resemble what’s inside. Her grey hair reflects the grey matter inside. His? Well you know.

The president of the church is 95 and his wife is 69.

We all have those days Opal ….. Go have some ice cream !

Earl was doing so well until the end!

I only look at mine when I shave. I can take it or leave it.

My daughter bought me a coffee mug a few months ago, and as I was using it for the first time she asked, “Do you like your mug dad?” I replied, “Eh, I’m used to it.”

I’ll let you know in a couple of years if my face gets more interesting after 60.

In my opinion, how you present yourself is how others perceive you, at least I hope!

so according to Earl, my face doesn’t get interesting until Aprill 11, 2026…

I think Earl might have cataracts.

I have some wrinkles and I’m proud of them. I earned everyone. The hair….that’s a different story…..Oy

Other than my hair turning gray, my face was basically the same from 30-60, then the wrinkling started.

I agree with Earl, When I look at my 8 year old self in the mirror I often ask where I went wrong.

Gee, all you youngsters. I’m 71 and content about it all. The mirror is not my enemy.

We’re all circling the drain. But, I really thought it would take longer to get this old. I’m 76.

I think he was killing it with the sweetness until the last frame. Then he kind of blew it.

One of the things my grandmother said when she was in her late 80’s was that the voice in her was the same strong voice that was there when she was in her twenties. She said it was only the “tent” around that voice that had been worn and tattered with age. Grandma was pretty wise……

Proper perspectives make life more enjoyable.

Methinks Brian Crane just doesn’t want to waste wrinkle ink. Mom’s and Pop’s skin look like they’ve lived in a cave and away from all ultraviolet their who lives. (This skin cancer poster boy also suspects leaky fluorescent lights as a culprit.)

Seventy-two and comfortable in my skin, mostly.

Thanks Earl….you made my day……so for four years now my face is now interesting….a nice thought for me today and I needed it for sure. As I have had better days…..
