…why do I feel like something’s going to happen to Lovelace to silence him before he can finish telling the whole story…?

I’m brand-spanking new to this comic strip.

Yesterday, the bus driver and the roundabouts was fascinating; today’s strip is unsettling: How eager and enthralled the female was by Lovelace’s story to, as she is ushered to leave, her apparent disdain for both.

I went to the beginning of the strip but saw nothing to fill me in – just a lot of kids that had to get up and go to school.

Where’s a good pickup point to get up to speed on this story?

Thankfully, no one ever gets any idea to try to restart the Wen-Tack project, leading to unfortunate unexpected consequences. Who knows what would have happened then? (Talking to YOU, Mildred.)

Over the last couple of days, it’s become easier to understand why it was “goodbye forever“ to Tuan at the end of Space is the Place when he was pointing out how short the distance between Tackleford and Wendlefield is. (In addition to other probable reasons.) Easier to visit Wales.

Shauna Wickle would appreciate today’s (Jan. 10) Bizarro comic strip.
