George is surprisingly astute. Pity he’s going to die in just a few days.

Some dinosaurs did survive. We call them birds.

“Only the most annoying reptiles survive.” And to this day that concept holds true.

Now I’m feeling sorry for a big, ugly dinosaur. I need to stop reading the comics!!

It’s disheartening to think that, at the rate we’re going, we may not last as rulers of the earth as long as dinosaurs.

A majority of coelurosaur groups became extinct in the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event, including the Tyrannosauroidea, Ornithomimosauria, Oviraptorosauria, Deinonychosauria, Enantiornithes, and Hesperornithes. Only the Neornithes (modern birds) survived, and continued to diversify after the extinction of the other dinosaurs into the numerous forms found today. 2017
