    “Now SINCE WHEN do I qualify as a CRABBY person?!” says Lucy, at the end, as she chases Snoopy, for calling her crabby. That WAS Lucy, for you—a perfect example, of one with MANY FAULTS, especially ONE BIG FAULT, who was SO BLIND to what she TRULY was like, by nature.

    Snoopy, ever the master of tact and diplomacy! Not since the May 3, 1964 comic strip have I seen a more withering non-verbal assessment of Lucy’s character.
