Lucy leans against the piano and says, "What if I told you that you had to choose between your piano and me?"<BR><BR> Schroeder replies, "That wouldn't be difficult."<BR><BR> Lucy says, "But I've never asked you to choose, have I?"<BR><BR> Schroeder says, "No, I guess you haven't." Lucy lies down and gasps.<BR><BR>

Given the number of pianos that Lucy has kicked or destroyed because Schroeder wasn’t paying attention to her, you could argue that she has demanded that Schroeder choose between her and his piano.
And based upon the last panel, she assumes (correctly) that she would lose.
