Are Millie, Tina, Janet, Kim, Randi, and Norma friends of Charles Schulz? What about the O’Hara family? Amy is Charles Schulz’s daughter. And the mention of Poochie leads into a 3 week Peanuts Sunday strip arc regarding Poochie coming over to see Charlie Brown and Snoopy starting next Sunday (originally from December 24, 1972; December 31, 1972, and January 7, 1973 – respectively; with the Sunday strips originally rerun in 2001 (1/7/1973) in the 1973 Peanuts rerun cycle and in 2002 (12/24/1972 and 12/31/1971) in the original 1972 Peanuts rerun cycle.
I wonder how many readers remember that during the 1950s, when I was growing up, while a first class stamp cost 3 cents, during the holidays, if you tucked the flap of your envelope inside instead of licking and sealing it the post office let you use 2 cent stamps. That, plus the mail was delivered twice a day! The good old days indeed!!
Better, you can buy actual sets of real stamps on Amazon. But thanks for the suggestion. I never would have guessed. My P.O. never has stamps with the images I want anyway. Last time I let the P.O talk me into a big sheet of Tyrannosaurus stamps (if you can believe that)….

Whoever Amy is, she should feel honored that she won the ’get a Christmas card from Snoopy" sweepstakes…

I wonder if these are all dogs, or if some of these names are people.

Hey Snoopy, don’t you want to send one to the cat next door?

…and the Post Office workers just chase you out of the building when you try to buy another.

I guess Woodstock finally migrated, that’s why Snoopy has a different chief executive administrative assistant.

If I don’t go to the post office, then I’ll never get to see my picture!

Get Woodstock to deliver them airmail!

I never read the “holiday newsletters.” Such tripe.
Seriously, people. Post that nonsense to Facebook. Much easier to ignore.
And, environmentally friendly.

With the amount of mail Woodstock and he send, I’m surprised Snoopy doesn’t have a stamp meter machine.

He could just use his postage meter.

Poochie died on the way back to his home planet. No need to send him a card.

Snoopy is star no doubt! But why worry about stamps. You only need to tap your paws on the mobile.
