Why not? Quite a few have suffered from you.
well played, Linus
I wish more of the Peanuts’ gang had Linus’ backbone. Lucy wouldn’t be crabby-butted bully were that the case.
The word "martyr’ in the Greek text of the New Testament is a noun meaning “witness.” It doesn’t have any connection with “martyrdom” or even being killed.
Or she could sing “I’m Getting Nuttin’ For Christmas.”
Nice to see Linus stand up to her.
Another reason to be nice to people. One day, you might want something from the person you’re being mean to!
Personality wise, Lucy bears a striking resemblance to Dudley Dursley …
I’m hoping that this teaches you to think before you hit, but I don’t think it’ll work!
If you really believe in punching, then perhaps you should suffer for it.
Last Christmas I gave you my fist, But the very next day You took my present away. This year to save me from tears, I’ll go and hit someone special…
Cue the world’s smallest violin…
By this act, Linus also decides to relieve some of the work of Santa’s elves.
She may suffer, but it won’t be in silence.
You are not a martyr, Lucy, but as a plus, you’ll receive coal as gift.
She’s about as likable as the cat Bucky in the Get Fuzzy strip
This Christmas is getting too commercial. It’s getting too dangerous.
If I don’t get presents, there will be trouble.
to quote Heywood… “You Ain’t Getting Diddly-Squat For Christmas”
Still trying to guilt him into giving her a present.
No martyrdom for Lucy. She struck first
Talk about making things up on the fly! Lucy – you should run for Congress….
Am I the only one who likes Lucy? I also like Linus, Charlie Brown, etc.
About time you stood up to her, Linus!
