The first cat I remember in my family was named Poochie.

I’m planning a Paunchy Christmas myself.

Evidently, Poochie pre-dates the beginning of the Peanuts strip. In the very first strip dated October 2nd, 1950, the little boy refers Chuck as Charlie Brown.

Transgender, and had evolved into Poochie by the time the original Snoopy incident, which Snoopy never got over, had occurred.

The above is just pure speculation, as Peanuts was always ahead of it’s time concerning social commentary.

And here I thought Poochie was a female beagle….

I know a brotha from da ’hood named Pookie who could visit Snoopy instead!

I liked the way Snoopy and CB went in opposite conversational directions together.

Note: Poochie died on the way back to her home planet.

Pretty Strong feelings for a catchy name Poochie. I wonder want went wrong between the two?
