I was with Earl right up to the last panel.

Strange, since we’ve moved here to South Carolina, the days and weeks seems to go by fast.

If everyone were as slow as Earl the world would come to a standstill.

And then he throws away the whole lesson! Way to go, Earl!

Earl it’s just the Christmas rush ….

I often wonder if Earl has a purpose at all.

Only Earl’s allowed to slow down. Opal’s supposed to get things done and on time. And not utter any words of complaint.

Woman was pushing shopping cart through store like she was in some kind of contest to see how fast she could shop. She almost ran into my wife . I told her to slow the dang thing down.

Earls hunger pangs are getting to be urgent….hurry up Opal….Nelson is so confused….

I think Einstein once explained the relativity of time by saying how long 10 minutes is depends on which side of the bathroom door you are. Or something like that.

Used to be that time went fast when I was having fun. Now I don’t even have to be having fun anymore.

When I was young, I was a definite A-type person, always on the go, impatient, restless, wanting to achieve and experience everything at once!

Now I’m a PC-type ( NO not Politically Correct! ) – I’ve become a Perry Como-type person. I’m so laid-back I put myself to sleep. Nothing phases me the way it used to and I find myself telling everyone (especially my wife) to slow down and relax. Life is ( all-of-a-sudden ) too short to get all worked up. I can chill without using any medications, doing herbal remedies, or drinking any potent potables. Amazing what getting older chronologically will do for you!

Ah, yes, both the colon and stomach have minds of their own. I learned this many decades before neuron cells were found in our guts.

Patience had its place. And there are places it is out of place.
