Lio’s alarm clock reminds me of the really cool one from Nosferatu (which struck midnight on Harker’s first night in the castle). I bet Lio’s dad got it for him.

I don’t get it. Why is Lio shopping for worms? Is there some play on words with the “early bird gets the worm” aphorism? Also, why would the worm shop be closed and how is that humorous?
