Wasn’t that the recorder the crow wanted the kid to bring back from the beach? Didn’t he send them there with that in order to tape the voices they could hear on the beach?

Which is why Ravenscroft wanted the recording. What exists in both realities, or at least is close enough in phase to interact with both realities should be able to transfer the audio information between realities even if the realities can’t directly interact.

Does this mean that Wally himself isn’t in one reality at once, but straddling multiple ones at the same time?

Is that Duffy’s recorder? He hasn’t mentioned it yet, if so it is time for Duffy to come clean about his prior expeditions and his kid brother.

My guess is that the Topsider “reality traveler” dropped it on the beach, since it has the ant-fish on it we’ve seen in previous strips. Whether she dropped it intentionally or not remains to be seen. A message on how to escape the reality bubble to those trapped inside?

APEX. That company has its print over everything. Perhaps an Experiment gone wrong.

This is classic pretzel logic; we merely need to follow the string theories down the black hole to get to the jar of hot mustard. Consider: 1) Kirbee-Wally-Chic are regarded as outsiders but can’t account for how they arrived in Eden (https://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2019/04/08). 2) Eden residents have enjoyed a certain security as long as they hold tight to their limited location but this security is quickly eroding since… 3) Both Chic and Wally have been attacked by “God” (https://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2019/05/29, https://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2019/04/15) who passes in and out of the Eden reality. Eden functions as a gathering point for the chosen ones, both living and dead, who are revealed by the cross-dimensional comicbook (https://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2019/08/19) . 4)Wally is some sort of walking focal point for all this (https://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2019/07/29 ). Here is a tidbit to chew on….in Albert and the Free Energy Aaron Marx was working with Chuck on creating free energy access………it was called The Eden Project. Interesting.
