I’ve just started reading for pleasure again, after years of reading only business or self-help books to benefit myself. Takes me back to the days I would spend hours searching for a great book in the local library.
Back when I had joined the military, I had stopped reading for pleasure. And for a long time, for a lag of better description, I was going through withdrawals and didn’t realize it. Then I picked up a book and read solid for 3 hours. And I was fine. That’s my addiction that I do not ever want to be cured of.
