City chicken? Do you mean pigeon?

How does a city chicken differ from a farm chicken?

We have a recipe for evil chicken. Is it anything like that?

I didn’t realize someone else looked it up and looked it up myself and I see they got the same answer I did so I didn’t bother repeating it.

It is not wise to be saying stuff like that to your wife when she is within reach of a frying pan.

Is that a chicken that walks with a swagger?

I’m with Brutus on this one. I don’t care for chicken either, the think it tastes ‘foul’.

It may be odd, but when I first saw “city chicken” my mind went towards fried pigeons and not the young squabs either. Interesting to read up on the history of skewered pork/veal described as a chicken-like meal. Had never heard of it before today.

I looked up the recipe for it and it sounds quite good. Don’t no why Brutus wouldn’t like it. Pork and veal are quite good, although I haven’t seen veal in a very long time.

Never heard of city chicken. So I Googled it. It’s not even chicken! But, sounds good!

I have always called Pigeons, “City Chickens”
