When my son was a teenager, he would complain about how cold the house was. He was running around in shorts and a T-shirt while the rest of us were bundeld up in our sweats.
Now he complains when his daughters leave the door open too long on a cold day!
Yes, if you live long enough, you get to see your revenge.
I outfitted, or at least paid for, two sets of sweatsuits or fleece pants and shirts about 10 years ago for the Mrs and our daughters and have updated them every Xmas that an update was needed. A lot less expensive than any heating bill.

Ya gotta remember to move the pointer when you switch from ‘cool’ to ‘heat’.

My son got our first one for the winter/fall season we just had. $20
I know. I didn’t believe it either. Told him I’d give him $50 for 2 more degrees.

You guys need better insulation. My heating bill never gets over $40 and $22 of that is the minimum fees and taxes they charge every month.

This strip can also be used for the first lawn watering bill of the season.

Oh…How I remember the 34 years we had an oil furnace and that first fall/winter fill came! Installment payments! Such a blessing!
